Hawaiian vs. Button Down
Both styles come in the same print and fabric. They differ in the collar and the placket, the strip that holds the buttons.
Hawaiian Shirt: A camp collar, also called a Cuban collar, lies flat with an open notch neckline. The placket has extra fabric that folds under. The Hawaiian Shirt is preferred for relaxed days.
Button Down Shirt: A traditional collar that stands upright, with a top button, for a dressier look.
Pocket or no pocket: Either style has the option of coming with or without a pocket, and the print continues across it uninterrupted.
